The City of Worcester Commission on Disability will host a 40th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, October 16 at 4:30 p.m. in the Levi Lincoln Chamber at City Hall.
The event will feature an interactive panel discussion on the past and present challenges in the local disability movement as well as a musical performance and reception.
Formed in 1978, the Commission on Disability ensures that all Worcester residents and visitors with disabilities have access to City programs and services by providing information and referral, advocacy, outreach and educational programs.
