Worcester, MA (June 14, 2016) - The City of Worcester will host a town hall discussion about drug policy and the opioid epidemic, moderated by Deputy Director Mary Lou Leary, visiting from Washington, DC from the National Office of Drug Control Policy, Executive Office of the President.

Leary serves as the Deputy Director of State, Local and Tribal Affairs for the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), where she oversees ONDCP's High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program (HIDTA) and Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Grant Program, in addition to overseeing the office's criminal justice portfolio.
During the event, City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr. will give a brief welcome, then Leary will moderate a panel discussion on drug policy and the opioid epidemic. A full list of panelists is attached below.
