WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and National Fitness Campaign are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to launch the opening of a new Fitness Court® at University Park. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Fitness Court® will provide the region with equitable access to free high-quality workouts that allow people to use their body weight for a complete workout using seven different stations.
Fitness Courts® are created with adults of all ages and abilities in mind, allowing users to move at their own pace. Users are encouraged to download the free Fitness Court® mobile application, which offers world-class workouts and acts as a coach-in-your-pocket.
The event will include a Fitness Court® demonstration and a competition between two community organizations.
