Worcester, MA (January 27, 2012) - The City of Worcester is pleased to announce a launch of its Worcester Energy Program, a municipal energy efficiency program whose goal is to encourage residents, businesses and institutions throughout the city to save energy through investments in energy efficiency and sustainability.
The Worcester Energy Program is an offshoot of the City's 2007 Climate Action Plan and serves as a means to implement and communicate the City's efforts and accomplishments in achieving its Climate Action goals. The Worcester Energy Program offers City-wide two grant opportunities aimed at helping residents and small businesses save energy - a Residential Rebate Pilot and a Small Business Assessments Pilot.
