Due to the current weather forecast, several public buildings will close on Thursday, Dec. 17 including City Hall, 455 Main St.;, the Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem St.; and 25 Meade St., which houses Inspectional Services, the Worcester Division of Public Health and Fire Prevention.
All City employees will be working remotely to ensure limited interruption to essential services and delivery of vital records.
Municipal facilities will reopen under normal operating schedules on Friday, Dec. 18, with the exception of the Treasurer’s Office, which will continue to work remote for the remainder of the week due to a COVID-19 exposure. Please note that most City buildings are open by appointment only. No walks-in permitted. Appointments can be scheduled at www.worcesterma.gov.

In addition, because of the impending storm, the City of Worcester’s Weekly COVID-19 Press Briefing will be held Friday, Dec. 18, 4 p.m., at City Hall.
