Christmas Tree Disposal Sites Announced

Worcester residents may dispose of Christmas trees at any of the drop-off sites listed below, free of charge. Only live Christmas trees will be accepted; yard waste and artificial trees will not be accepted.

The sites will be open Tuesday, December 27, 2022 - Sunday, January 8, 2023* during the following hours, weather permitting:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sundays (Millbury St. location only): 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drop-off sites:

• 1065 Millbury Street (next to the VFW Post)
• 300 Chandler Street (in the parking lot across from Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium)
• 299 Clark Street (near the East Mountain St. intersection)

Trees should only be dropped off when City staff are present. Dropping trees off when staff and trucks are not on site is considered illegal dumping. Proof of Worcester residency is required for drop off.

*Sites will be closed for the New Year’s Day holiday on Sunday, January 1, 2023 and on Monday, January 2, 2023.
