Christmas Tree Disposal

For Immediate Release: 12/26/2019 9:30 am

Worcester residents may dispose of Christmas trees at any of the three drop-off sites listed below. Christmas trees will not be collected at the curb. Only live Christmas trees will be accepted; yard waste and artificial trees will not be accepted. The sites will be open during the following dates and times, weather permitting:

Thursday, December 26, 2019 through Sunday, January 12, 2020

• 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday (Only Millbury St. site is open Sunday)

Drop-off sites:

• 1065 Millbury Street (next to the VFW Post)
• 300 Chandler Street (In the parking lot across from Foley Stadium)
• 299 Clark Street (Near the East Mountain Street intersection)

Trees should only be dropped when City staff are present. Dropping trees off when staff and trucks are not on site is considered illegal dumping. Proof of Worcester residency is required for drop off.
