The City of Worcester and the Department of Economic Development announce two additional Community Input Sessions on the use of funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
A session in District 5 will be held Monday, Sept. 27, 6 p.m., at the headquarters of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 96, 242 Mill St. A session in District 2 will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 6 p.m., at Worcester Technical High School, 1 Skyline Drive.
This is in addition to the first input session, which was held at Burncoat High School in District 1, and two other scheduled sessions: District 4 on Thursday, Sept. 9, 6 p.m., at the Boys & Girls Club, 65 Boys & Girls Club Way; and District 3 on Thursday, Sept. 16, 6 p.m., at the Worcester Senior Center, 128 Providence St. Both of those sessions will feature American Sign Language interpreters.
The Community Input Sessions are fashioned in a structured way to foster dialogue among all those in attendance, and feature breakout sessions overseen by at least one facilitator at each table, including multi-lingual facilitators.
For added convenience, and for those who are unable to attend a session in person, an online survey is available in multiple languages at www.worcesterma.gov/arpa.
