# 8.27A CM May 24, 2022 | Attachments | | | | | | | Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj recognized the Director of Emergency Communications and Management, who discussed the launch of the 311 app and call center, staff management, further plans for innovation and resident outreach, how residents can provide feedback for the new program and various features of the 311 program.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj recognized Councilor Toomey, who discussed the available platforms that are part of the 311 program and feasibility of integrating the program with other platforms.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj recognized Councilor Russell, who discussed daily call volumes, how many people have signed up for the notification program, efforts relative to search engine optimization for the 311 program, the counter for closed tickets and the automation menu with the Director of Emergency Communications and Management.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj recognized Councilor Toomey, who discussed whether users could customize the notices that they get from the app with the Director of Emergency Communications and Management.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj brought forth the following Chairman’s Order: Request City Manager request Director of Emergency Communications and Management ensure marketing for the 311 program be made accessible in multiple languages.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj then discussed the option for anonymous reporting via 311 app with the Director of Emergency Communications and Management.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj brought forth the following Chairman’s Order: Request City Manager request the Director of Emergency Communications and Management review and resolve issues relative to the 311 app, including anonymous reporting and the solved tickets counter.
Chairperson Councilor Haxhiaj moved to recommend the item be placed on file.
