Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who provided the recommendation to approve the acceptance of the water, sewer, storm drain, street lighting and conduit associated with the street lighting, and deny the acceptance of the electric vehicle charging stations and conduit associated with the electric vehicle charging stations.
Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Commissioner of Transportation and Mobility, who discussed EV charging stations and parking spaces at the location.
Chairperson Councilor Russell moved to accept the recommendation.
Recommend Approval of the acceptance of the water, sewer, storm drain, street lighting and conduit associated with the street lighting, and Denial of the acceptance of the electric vehicle charging stations and conduit associated with the electric vehicle charging stations. | |

Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Commissioner of Transportation and Mobility, who discussed working with the Clerk’s office to create the street and sidewalk repair lists.
Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who discussed plans concerning street and sidewalk resurfacing by the City and by private utility companies.
Chairperson Councilor Russell recognized Councilor Mero-Carlson, who discussed the impact of the date of the street selection on the street resurfacing timelines and editing the list to remove streets that have been resurfaced with the Commissioner of Transportation and Mobility and the Deputy City Clerk.
Chairperson Councilor Russell brought forth the following two (2) Chairman’s Orders: 1) Request City Manager request Commissioner of Transportation and Mobility provide City Council with the list of streets that have been resurfaced and whether the sidewalks were resurfaced at the same time; and 2) Request City Manager provide City Council with a list of streets that were resurfaced using ARPA funding and whether the sidewalks were resurfaced at the same time.
Chairperson Councilor Russell moved to recommend the item be held.
