1. Khalilah J. Atkinson request a law in Worcester that smoking
inside bus stops be prohibited and penalized with a public fine. Further that people who smoke should have to
be at least 15 feet away from bus stops that don't have a seated booth and that
signs be posted on all city bus stops informing the smoking public that they
need to be at least 15 feet or more from non-booth bus stops and at least 5
feet away from bus stops with seated booths.

Chairman’s Order request the Administration to report to the City Council concerning the feasibility of initiating a corporate sponsorship of regional transit services.
Chairman’s Order request the Administration to report to the City Council on the designation of a City Bus Day that would encourage public elected and appointed officials to utilize only public transit services on a specific date for their transportation needs.
Chairman’s Order request the Administration request the WRTA to report to the City Council whether the use of smaller buses would be a means of cutting costs while maintaining transit service.
Chairman’s Order request the Administration report to the City Council the number of taxi cabs that are handicap accessible.
Chairman’s Order request the City Solicitor advise the City Council if WRTA labor agreements are public information, and if they are, to provide copies of same to the City Council.
