Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson recognized the Vice President of Development of Menkiti Group, who provided presentation concerning the development of the property at 204 Main St.
Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson then discussed feasibility of increasing the number of ADA units for the development design with the Vice President of Development of Menkiti Group.
Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson recognized the following speaker: 1. Mike Kane, Worcester resident, spoke in favor of the item
Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson recognized Councilor Bergman, who discussed the cost difference between a regular unit and a fully accessible unit, reasons relative to local lenders choosing to not participate in the development project, whether this is unique to Worcester and comparison of the rate of return to the Boston market with the Vice President of Development of Menkiti Group and the Chief Development Officer.
Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson recognized Councilor Pacillo, who discussed hiring of local contractors and apprentices and whether the Menkiti Group has met with abutting businesses concerning the construction with the Vice President of Development of Menkiti Group.
Chairperson Councilor Mero-Carlson discussed the parking plan relative to 204 Main St. property with the Vice President of Development of Menkiti Group.
