@ 5:25 p.m. The Chairperson
reconvened the hearing that was recessed on October 6, 2004 on the
Reorganization Plan proposed by the City Manager that was submitted to the City
Council on September 28, 2004. The Committee listened to an explanation of the
components relating to Police, Fire, Communications and Law Departments. The Councillors
questioned the Manager concerning aspects of the plan. Barbara White of 38
Upland Gardens Drive commented on the plan also. The Committee announced it
will continue the hearing to hear details of the remaining proposed
re-organization. The hearing was recessed @ 7:50 p.m.
