Presentation by Dr. John Sullivan and the HIV/AIDS and
Hepatitis C Task Force
with a proposal for the implementation of an integrated program
incorporating the findings of the HIV AIDS/Hepatitis C Task Force.
Chairman’s Order request the Administration clarify for the City Council that if the City of Worcester is in a position to accept state dollars for AIDS education and prevention, that a referral to a community that has a needle exchange program is acceptable and appropriate for the acceptance of said funds.
Joe McKee, Director of AIDS Project Worcester, a Marlborough resident, appeared and spoke.
