5:30-6:00 P.M.       Dr. John Sullivan regarding HIV/AIDS.

 

Dr. Sullivan, Christine Damiano and Michael Mazloff appeared and spoke. Mr. Mazloff reported that 70 new AIDS cases were reported in Worcester during calendar 1999.

Chairman’s Order that the City Council accepts the Report from the Commission on Homelessness concerning the siting and relocation process and the proposed design for the new men’s shelter/multi-purpose center.

Chairman’s Order Request the Administration provide the City Council with their plans regarding the absolute maximum overnight capacity for the proposed men’s shelter/multi-purpose center.

 

Chairman’s Order that the City Manager’s Commission on Homelessness report to the City Council on improving the accountabilities for the proposed men’s shelter/multi-purpose center.

 

The next meeting of this Committee shall be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. and shall concern the PIP Shelter. The location is to change to the offices of Winn Management, 714 Main Street, enter Wellington Street side of building.
