Request City Manager recommend to City Council a location or facility in Ward 7 to be named in memory of John Binienda who, as District 17 State Representative, served the community of Worcester with honor and distinction for 28 years. (Rosen)

Request City Manager report to City Council concerning the creation and implementation of an alarm system for disasters, inclusive of a siren, and the procedures to warn the public. (Toomey)

Request City Manager request Commissioner of Public Works and Parks determine what steps must be taken to prevent the failure and to increase the capacity of storm drains and sewers in and around the area of Dorset St., Marwood Rd. and Cardinal Rd., which become flooded in major rain events causing substantial damage to homes and loss of personal property. Request City Manager inform City Council whether or not spokespeople for the Worcester Police Department, in a timely fashion and in keeping with the public-records law, provide legally-required and accurate public information in response to requests from all (large and small) media outlets. Request City Manager request Commissioner of Public Works and Parks repair and replace items at Bancroft Tower in Salisbury Park, all in the interest of public safety and property preservation, as follows: repair both sets of stairs at the entry turrets, replace retaining wall along the parking area, remove the defunct water fountain, replace left gate to tower to match right gate, remove graffiti, add motion activated light and further, request City Manager request Commissioner of Public Works and Parks make directional sign recommendations. Request City Council review the missions, goals, objectives, accomplishments and funding sources of the Community Development Corporations in order to determine their economic impact and quality of life in the neighborhoods they serve. (Lukes)

Request City Manager organize periodic meetings of all the Community Development Corporations in order for those entities to exchange and share information as to their missions, goals, accomplishments and plans and to develop a city wide mission. (Lukes)
