AFFAIRS Upon the Petition of Christina Orczyk request to seek legislation exempting
her from the maximum age requirement to be considered for appointment as a
police officer in the City of Worcester as follows: Notwithstanding Section 58A
of Chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the
contrary, Christina M. Orczyk may have her name certified for original
appointment to the position of police officer in the City of Worcester,
notwithstanding having reached the age of 32 before taking such civil service
examination in connection with such appointment. In all other respects, Christina M. Orczyk shall be eligible for
appointment to the position of police officer in the City of Worcester only if
she qualifies and is selected for employment under the procedures provided in
Chapter 31 of the General Laws, any regulations of the Civil Service Commission
and any lawful hiring practices of the City of Worcester: recommend adoption
