34.          Request City Manager look into several complaints concerning the operation of the Hope Avenue compost site, trucks lining up to turn into the site and others coming off the I-290 ramp are going to cause an accident, also the continuous banging of truck tailgates. Further, some trucks are not using covers.  (Nadeau, Lukes)

 

35.          Request City Manager report back to City Council on possible recommendations that would mandate the securing of vacant buildings by property owners.  (Nadeau, Petty)

 

36.          Request City Manager research grants and other types of funding to secure the many vacant buildings such as FEMA, LLEBG, state and others.  (Nadeau, Petty)

 

37.          Request City Manager to report the estimated cost to secure a vacant warehouse and a three-decker by the U.S. Fire Administration’s wood method and by the access denied method.  (Nadeau, Petty)

 

38.          Request City Manager report on when the promises to alleviate the horrible conditions at Hope Avenue compost site will be done since there seems to be no movement on finding a proper and acceptable site.  (Nadeau, Lukes)

 

39.          Request City Manager report on whether composting is a permissible activity in an RS-7 zone.  Further, is there a siting process for composting sites.  (Nadeau, Lukes)

 

40.          Request Administration to report on merit pay raises given to department heads, listing by department head the current salary and amount of merit increase. (Lukes)
