#41060202, Signal Damage, to allow for the purchase of traffic signal
equipment.
B.
Recommend that One Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Dollars
($155,000.00) be transferred from Account #91C741, Street Resurfacing and
appropriated to Account #41C741, Street Resurfacing, to provide funds for the
payment of contractual obligations related to various street resurfacing
projects and other related costs, as approved in the Capital Improvement
Program.
C.
Recommend that One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) be transferred from Account #91C745, Sewer Construction, and appropriated
to Account #44C764, Sewer Pumping, to provide funds for the purpose of payment
for contractual obligations related to various sewer pumping projects, as
approved in the Capital Improvement Program.
D. Recommend
that Three Thousand Twenty Five Dollars ($3,025.00) be transferred when and as
received from Account #91C780, Capital Equipment, and appropriated to Account
#26C701, Fire Department Capital Equipment, to provide funds for the purpose of
purchasing a 40’ ground level storage container for the Fire Department, as
approved in the Capital Improvement Program.
E. Recommend
that One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Six Dollars ($1,596.00) be transferred
from the following Account #330-07, Reserve for Appropriation Damage
Settlement, and appropriated to Account #260-92000, Fire Department Ordinary
Maintenance, to cover damage repairs to Ladder 1. This fund represents
reimbursements from Insurance Companies for damages to Ladder 1.
F.
Recommend that Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) be
transferred from Account #91C741, Street Construction, and appropriated to
Account #41C797, Sidewalks, to provide
funds for the payment of contractual obligations related to various sidewalk
construction projects, and other related costs, as approved in the Capital
Improvement Program.
G.
Recommend that Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($14,500.00) be transferred from Account #91C711, Building Rehabilitation, and
appropriated to Account #75C702, Civic Center Rehabilitation, to provide funds
for the purpose of payment for contractual obligations associated with the
replacement of carpeting at the Civic Centre, as approved in the Capital
Improvement Program.
H.
Recommend that Fifty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Eight
Dollars and Twenty Cents ($58,508.20) be transferred when and as received from
Account #91C780, Capital Equipment, and appropriated to Account #72C701, Parks
Department Capital Equipment, to provide funds for the purpose of purchasing
various pieces of capital equipment for the Parks Department, as approved in fiscal
2001 Capital Improvement Program.

29. Request City Manager provide the City Council with a report on the most recent collaboratives between members of the Consortium for Higher Education and the Worcester Public Schools.
30. Request Superintendent of the Worcester Public Schools to inform the City Council if there are standards for school buses maintained and operated to transport public school students in Massachusetts and if all students need to be seated.
31. Request Superintendent of the Worcester Public Schools to inform the City Council of other standardized testing done in the schools in addition to MCAS and include any specialized testing done at the Vocational High School.
32. Request Superintendent of the Worcester Public Schools to provide the City Council with a report outlining all after school programs offered, by school site, including timeframes.
